- Religious Education for Grades 2-8
  
  PARENTS are the first and best teachers and the most effective role models for their children in matters of faith and morals, especially at early ages.
  
  Therefore, religious education and sacramental preparation at St. Stanislaus Kostka uses a family-based Catechism Program “Family of Faith,” from Sophia Institute. The Family of Faith program is a 4-year curriculum of religious education which follows the 4 main themes in the Catechism of the Catholic Church: the Creed, Mass and the Sacraments, Christian Morality, and Prayer.
  
  In this program, parents/guardians instruct their children in the home using materials provided and with the guidance and support of parish volunteer catechists. Materials include 2 lessons a month based on the curriculum for each year, children’s workbook, and ideas for games, conversation starters, readings, and crafts. Materials include ideas for various age levels. Materials are available in English and Spanish. Parents will choose what language they wish at the time of registration.

El programa Familia de Fe es un plan de estudios de 4 años de educación religiosa que sigue los 4 temas principales del Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica: el Credo, la Misa y los Sacramentos, la Moral Cristiana y la Oración.
  
  En este programa, los padres / tutores instruyen a sus hijos en el hogar utilizando los materiales provistos y con la orientación y el apoyo de los catequistas voluntarios de la parroquia. Los materiales incluyen 2 lecciones al mes basadas en el plan de estudios de cada año, el libro de trabajo de los niños e ideas para juegos, iniciadores de conversación, lecturas y manualidades. Los materiales incluyen ideas para varios niveles de edad. Los materiales están disponibles en inglés y español. Los padres elegirán el idioma que deseen al momento de la inscripción.
