Funerals

During this time of mourning, the Catholic faith teaches us that a funeral represents the passing of a loved one into eternal life. In the event of a loved one passing, St. Stanislaus Kostka will be contacted by your funeral home.

If you have not chosen a funeral home, or would like to make pre-arrangements, we invite you to contact the parish office for assistance.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present, nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38

The Christian meaning of death is revealed in the light of the Paschal mystery of the death and resurrection of Christ in whom resides our only hope. The Christian who dies in Christ Jesus is "away from the body and at home with the Lord.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1681)
