Restore St. Stan's

Dear Parishioners, Friends and Benefactors,

As you clearly see and I trust, truly appreciate, much work has been recently done to futher beautify St. Stanislaus Kostka and make the parish a sanctuary worthy of God who abides here.  But not only has this been done to the greater glory of God, but also out of love for yu and others who gather here in sacred assembly for the worship of God and for prayer.

The restoration and repairs of the church are an expression of gratitude to those who build this beautifu church and cared for it over time - those who have already precede us in life. This work has been done in view of those who will come after us.  We are faithful stewards of God's house in our time and trust that our descendants will be faithful stewards in their time.

The work accomplished is the result of your generosity to the Restoration Project and most especially to a number of parishioners and friends of the parish who have made considerable donations, not only monetary, but also the donation of their skills and talents.  Following is a list of recent projects that have been completed or are nearing completion thanks to the generosity of donors who have contributed from their resources and skills:

  1. Restoration and repair of outer windows of the church
  2. The replacement of the stairs leading from the parking lot to the sidewalk along Noble Street
  3. The newly created driveway leading from the school parking lot into the parish parking lot, giving easy access into our parking lot
  4. The Holy Door - new doors to our church
  5. The new parish webisite - soon to be opened after much hard labor
  6. The widening of the steps leading into the sanctuary and the extension of the base of the sanctuary in preparation for the altar rail
  7. The carpeting of the sanctuary.
  8. The repair of the sacristy walls and their repainting
  9. The three beautiful iconic images of The Divine Mercy whic will be a beacon leading pilgrims form the express way into the sacred space
  10. For the first time in nearly 150 years, St. Stanislaus Kostka has a sign to name and identify the parish

It seems to me we've come a long way.  In addition to these projects I want to thank all of you for your ongoing support to the parish.  Thanks to all of you who worked so hard and gave so much of your time to assit the parish in meeting its' operating expenses.  I am truly grateful to all you do.  I trust that God will reward all of you for your generosity and selflessness in contributing to the mission of this parish.

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr. Anthony Buś, C.R., pastor
