Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened.

Mission Statement

The St Stan's Men’s Group is dedicated to the protection, provision, and preparation of our families, community, our church (St Stan’s) and our nation to meet the challenges of today's society. This is done with the recognition of our Godly duty as men. We seek to fill the void that has been created in today's society recognizing we have Christ and each other committed to truth and dedicated to our brotherhood as followers of Christ.
More about our men's group…

Here are some of the questions we discuss in our meetings: : 1) What is the nature of being a man? 2) What is our role in our church? 3) What is our role in the community? 4) What is our role in the family?

There is a void of leadership of men in our community created by the government, our educational system and pop culture. It is our duty to fill this void and provide support to our church, family, friends and community. We can no longer turn a blind eye or put our heads in the sand to this need. That would be irresponsible and would not fulfill our duties as faith filled men.

Will you allow the school system, the media or the government to define your role as men? Don't let this happen to the men in your family; be the father, brother, grandfather, uncle or role model to young men. Our group gives you the forum to express and foster your values.

Our meetings consist of these components:

  1. Prayer: Praying together, learning new prayers, learning the meaning of prayers,
  2. Church Matters: Stewardships we must use our God given gifts to better St Stan's,: the men's group can use resources to work on specific projects to meet the needs of our church such as security, upkeep, welcoming and recruiting new members.
  3. Knowing our Faith: learn to defend our faith by becoming more knowledge In its teaching and recognizing that this country was founded by faith and belief in God. We will learn to articulate our core beliefs and values as followers of Christ. With so much confusion in society we must provide clarity to other men. We must raise the spiritual level of all men in our community through direct contact with the rules of the church.
  4. Evangelization: We must reach out to the community and teach the strength of our faith.
