Lenten Religious Observances
St. Stanislaus Kostka – Sanctuary of The Divine Mercy

Ash Wednesday Mass:  (March 6)   8:15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Prayers, Devotions, and Confession
Divine Mercy Chaplet:  3:00 p.m. – Monday thru Friday beginning March 6 through April 17

Adoration:    Commit to Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament at the Monstrance Our Lady of the Sign.  The church/sanctuary is open 24/7.  Sign up in the vestibule.

Confessions:  5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.  (The weeks when Fr. Anthony is in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic, confessions will be from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.  He is expected to be out the week of March 11th and the week of April 1st).

Mass:   Monday through Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.

Stations of the Cross:  Friday evening immediately after the 7:00 p.m. Mass. (bi-lingual)

Lenten Reflections: “The Eucharist” 5 session course Mondays 7:30 p.m. (after 7:00 p.m. Mass), OR Sundays 8:45 a.m. in the rectory.  The sessions may be followed online beginning March 11th through April 8th.  (contact restoreststans@comcast.net)

Penance
Fast/Abstinence:  Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics.  In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. 
The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 to 59.  When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal.  The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Rite of the Church - binding on Roman Catholics from the age of 14 and older.  (USCCB)
